Confluxes is aimed at small to medium businesses, irrespective if they are part of a larger corporate organisation or a sole proprietorship
Businesses are advised to register employees and assign the rights to use specific functions in representing a business through Confluxes. Business can have multiple users per business, each can have different privileges. Each user can be linked to multiple businesses, but will only have the privileges approved for them for each specific business, this allows for project based work, contractors working as well as a matrix environment and commercial outsourced partnership arrangement
Is my business' information secure?
Confluxes' technical architecture ensures that your business' data is securly stored and accessed. Confluxes has implemented advanced data access and audit tracking solutions to proactivly manage data protection.
Access to a business' information on Confluxes is controlled through function driven user profiles. A user is limited to the access privelages and user functions granted for any specific business. This can be linked to specific functions, departments within a business or as detailed as specific product or reuirement limited.
Every business can define exactly what information is made publicly available, what is only visible to other resigtered business, or what is only visible to the business internally. This information visbility protection is further supported by the standard Confluxes structure that prevents a business being identified through an associated active requirement (unless another subscribing business' solutions had a relevance based matched to the specific requirement).
Even though Confluxes provides value chain network intelligence that presents a business with perspective on their position (or their product or requirement) within the value chain network, it will not identify a business if a business does not have a direct relationship with your business.
What are costs for using Confluxes?
The basic use of Confluxes is free through the public interface, enabling search for solutions for requirements - this functionality can be used without the need to register. Users of the public interface (not logged in)will be able to discover solutions for their requirents and see the relevant products and associated business that provides a solution. Public users will be able to discover active requirements, but will not be able to identify the business that has a specific requirement.
For a business to start to benefit from relevance based service, it is recommended that businesses register on Confluxes. This will enable a business to define specific products and requirements on the network that will enable automatic tracking and search matching. It is advisable to register specific users for specific functions in the business value chain and focus area.
Use of basic functions of Confluxes, such as active relevance based matching of products or requirements within te value network, communication facilities and ability to manage commerical relationship, are free for single-user business accounts, multi-user business are however required to subscribe to Confluxes' premium services that will enable full functionality of Confluxes' services.
Some functions will however be at a premium even for single user accounts, this includes (but not exclusively):
Value chain network analysis and information
Requirements component breakdown and network collaborative project delivery management
Active alerts of new opportunity/solution matches
Direct proposals to qualified prospects
Some 3rd party add on applications
Paid marketing (linked to relevant matching results, where a business is not included in results),
A single user may be associated with multiple businesses (maximum 3) without requireing to subscribe to Confluxes. If a single user has registered more than 3 businesses where they are the sole user, a subscription will be required for each additional business registered.
Multiple user and the use of the full Confluxes functionality and services are subject to a subscription fee of £15 per month (for every 5 users per business) (conversion for the specific region, US$20, ZAR200) or £150 for 12 months
Can Confluxes provide invoices for subscription payments made?
Yes, Confluxes provides an invoice (pdf format) at time of subscription payment processing. This document is also available for later download in your Business' administration section.

Unsolicited proposals, that are qualified through requirements matching, can be submitted to the business with the requirement directly at a cost of £2 (equivalent in your home currency) per proposal submission
Both proposal submissions and marketing is operated through a credit system with credits purchased in bulk and used as required/specified.
Some future functionality, such as collaborative project management for requirements delivery through multiple businesses, order and contract delivery management, and requirements/product breakdown management

Confluxes does partner with industry/vertical focused business for partner/industry/vertical specific branded avenues for delivering the services and functionality resident on the Conflux platform, using and feeding into the entire Confluxes network.
Confluxes will consider each partnership opportunity on an individual basis, evaluating on industry focus, experience of partner in the specific industry/vertical space, possible conflict with existing partnerships, and the ultimate value addition to the business ecosystem and customer businesses.
